Everyone knows Koh Phangan for the world famous Full Moon Party at Haad Rin Beach with thousands of party people dancing through the night – but this island has more to offer. Koh Phangan can be the ideal location for an unforgettable and nice beach vacation. There are still some nice remote and tranquil beaches with a laid-back atmosphere. Along the beach you will find some bamboo bars and restaurants for having a chilled cocktail or beer. Besides Haad Rin Beach, the island has another two nice white beaches – Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai. Both beaches can either be reached by a jungle road and by boat. We recommend to visit these beaches in the early morning to enjoy an amazing colorful sunrise. The most famous temple on the island is called Wat Khao Tham and is located at the hilltop and provides spectacular views and meditation retreats for those interested in Buddhism.
Koh Phangan is also a nice location for taking your friends or your beloved on a sailing cruise trip.
